ABOUT ME

NEXT

When I first arrived in Boston I was very happy. I was tired after a long trip but I was happy that at last I'm really in the USA.

My first impression about Boston was that this city looks very strange. The combination of small wooden private houses and high huge skyscrapers just amazed me. But now I can say it is a wonderful city. For the first time I saw the Venetian court in the Isabella Stuart Gardner Museum and I like this kind of museum. I think the favorite place for our group is Central Park with its squirrels, ducks and a skating-rink.

The Snowden School seems to us not ordinary. It looks more like a church than school. And it's different from a Russian school not only in its appearance. The system of education and rules in the school are different too. Teachers in school are affable. They always smile and greet you.

I cannot say that all the students in this school are affable; some of them seem a little bit crazy. But most people in America are very nice.

I like the USA and I like Boston. But I miss home very much; I miss my parents, my friends, who are in Saint Petersburg.

But I want to say great thanks to the manages of this program, who gave me a unique chance to visit the United States.
