When I was in the United States I asked American people some questions about Environmental situation in Boston. I asked 11 people. Questions were in the form of a survey. People who answered these questions were the students of Snowden High School. Not all the students are well informed about this topic. But some students know a lot about ecology of their city.

All the students think that the problem of environmental protection is very important now and they agree that litter is a problem of their city. But they say that they try not to put litter on the ground. Among other environmental problems they single out garbage, air pollution, smoke from the cars and factories, water pollution. Actually they can't say for sure how many factories are in the environs of the city. But all students know that there are a lot of parks in the city. There are nearly 25. Half of students think that this number of parks is enough for their city. Students say that they try not to pollute so much, pick up and through away trash. One of the interviewed is a member of the "City Year". So most of the students try to do something to protect their city from pollution. They also offered some ways to keep our Earth clean. For example: driving fewer cars, stopping littering and starting helping cleaning it, not polluting, having more trash cans in the streets, and recycling. One of the students thinks that we can solve this problem "by having everyone doing their part to keep the city clean".

Most answers and offers will help me a lot with my project "Environmental issues of Boston". So I should say great thanks to people who helped me with working upon my survey and answering these questions.
