This summary is an attempt to analyze the survey I designed to learn the urban culture in the USA. Urban culture in the USA is very various. People say that such urban cultural things as graffiti, skateboarding, BMXing are the result of that teenagers need some self-expression, a rest at the end of the day, and communication with their friends. There are a lot of people in the USA who say that media take great part in teenagers' life. Many people in America think that teenagers prefer an active style of life (like skateboarding). Americans also say that sports are very popular in their country and take a big part in their life. The most popular kinds of sports are baseball, hockey, basketball, football and soccer. But only several teenagers in the USA do street sports like skateboarding and BMXing. Americans say that the main extreme sport in the USA is skateboarding. Many people prefer to watch sports on TV rather than to do them. TOP
